Does not contain AV cable or Remote. Still great player for money.Outstanding price. Is very sturdy. Controls are simple to use for any age in my family from 6 up. Has dual audio plugs so 2 can plug in at time without a splitter. Haven't tested out the 4 hour battery yet, but if it actually holds 4 hours that's pretty outstanding feature when most are advertised at 2-3. Comes with cables for car power plugin and home outlet. Have watched around 6 movies so far. No stutters or issues. Some minor little infrequent crackle when playing home made DVDs of TV shows. But that is very likely related to disk. No professionally made disks show any of that. Would highly recommend. Had a Sony b4 this one that broke after 2 years of moderately heavy use. 5 hours every week roughly. Paid over twice as much and thought the brand name made it better. Not the case at all. I figure if these things are going to break anyway, may as well buy good ones that... These items are not listed on the box under "What's inside the box" also. As far as I can tell, the unit does not even have remote control functionality. The unit is different from the picture on the Amazon product page, the controls are different and located on the top right of the base and not below the screen as shown.The unit does seem to have the 4 hour playback or close to it as I can play 2 movies on a single full charge. I had problems with 2 of the first 3 DVD's I played in the unit after a full charge. Playback would 'hiccup' for a second or two every 5-10 minutes or so. The last DVD 'hiccuped' after 3.5 hours of battery play and the unit plugged into the AC charger for playing the DVD. Contacted the vendor and was issued an RMA, but was notified that not only do I have to pay to send it back, but they may also deduct their original... Read more |
